And last week, I went to the Kiehls event, held at the Ginza store.
The event was very interesting, with a workshop about herbs, where we prepared our own
tea, using the herbs most used in the brand’s products.
The event was conducted by Kiehls in partnership with @Cosme
That is a website about cosmetics, well regarded here in Japan.
Below are the herbs we use in the workshop and its benefits.
Calendula: Bad breath, Regulates hormones, Antipyretic, Anti-inflammatory skin, Antibactericide.
Limonete: Relieves gastrointestinal problems, calming.
German Chamomile: Soothing, Natural relaxing, Hormonal balance
Linden: Mental Stability, Increased Body Temperature
Elderberry: Anti-allergic, Prevents body cooling, Detoxification
Rose Hip: Diuretic action, antioxidant, Fatigue
Echinacea: Strengthen the antiviral and immune system
Mallow: Sore throat, digestive problems.

In that event the main product was the Kiehls Calendula Herbal Extract Toner CL Lotion, Alcohol Free.
A natural moisturizing lotion, the main ingredient being calendula.
This lotion began to be sold around 1960, and since then they have never changed the preparation form or ingredients.
I started using this lotion about 2 years ago when I was looking for an alcohol-free lotion.
I loved it from the beginning, as well as having a very relaxing herbal scent, when I use it in the cotton, covering the whole face and letting it act for 5min. This super way to use moisturizes the skin a lot.
In addition, as mentioned above, calendula has anti-inflammatory effect, so it is great for anyone who has acne or when it appears. I usually apply the product on the cotton and let it act on it for a few minutes.
The flower petals inside the bottle make it romantic.
I really want to use full Kiehls’ calendula line!!!❣️
And a product I did not know and had the opportunity to try, it was this cleansing water.
It can be used to cleanse the skin, remove makeup, etc.
I always use this type of product in the morning, rather than washing my face.
But what I found to be different about this one from Kiehls was that it contains herbal oil.
It has a great smell and these oils clean the skin and leave it super moisturized, but without getting oily.
The bad part ..?
I did not find anywhere to buy …
I searched the net, the stores and nothing … 😿
