How I lost 10kg in 3 months without suffering with crazy diets.

Today I want to share with you my story about getting 10kg during COVID 19 and how I lost it.
Well, I’ve worked as a model in Tokyo since I finished school, so staying slim has always been more than vanity, it’s been my profession. I’m 164cm tall and my weight when I was modeling was 46, 47kg. With the pandemic, everything came to a standstill in Tokyo and around the world, and my work was no different. I didn’t have any modeling or event work for about two and a half years, and with the stress I started eating everything that was never part of my routine; sweets, fried food and many other delicacies. The result? I gained 10kg and my clothes no longer fit.
And of course I was feeling bad about it, but it ended up becoming a vicious circle, stress made me feel hungrier and eating made me feel more stressed. Does anyone understand this? And I was going to the gym, but the amount I was eating exceeded what I was spending on exercise! haha Finally, at the end of last year I went back to my job and meeting the people who knew me “before” made me feel really bad, and I decided I was going to lose the fat!
So here I’m going to divide the process into 3 parts: Mental, diet and exercise.
Mental: I realized that my brain was already addicted to sweets after meals, too much flour and sugar, etc. Healthy food no longer satisfied me, so I decided to re-educate myself.
The first thing I started to do was cut down on junk food and add more vegetables to make me feel full. I know, it’s not easy at first but believe me, within a week of doing this your body starts to accept it and you stop missing the cake and cookies. The idea here is to gradually reduce the unhealthy and replace them with healthy ones, without causing that stressful shock.
Diet: The first week I continued to eat my unhealthy foods in smaller and smaller quantities, missing them but less and less, and this made me feel very good about myself. The second week I went on the fast weight loss diet:
Breakfast: Porridge with fruit, made with almond milk, chocolate-flavored protein, berries, banana and honey. For me, this made me feel full, it tasted sweet and the protein meant that I didn’t feel hungry for longer.
Lunch: Lots of vegetables, 100 grams of brown rice and some lean meat, just the way I like it. I always looked for recipes in this healthy cookbook: Enjoy Mouth-Watering Keto Recipes – Easy Restaurant Quality Keto Meals
Dinner: Until I reached my ideal weight, I swapped my dinner for a smoothie, because it made me feel full and I got all the nutrients and vitamins I needed for my skin, hair, etc. I tried several types, homemade, shakes, but the one I liked the most was this one: Ikaria Lean Belly Juice – Ancient “Juice” Melts Fat Fast

Because it wasn’t delivered in Japan, I had to ask my friend to send it to me, which was problematic.
I still taking this now too.
Gym: Twice a week I go to the gym, do 3 types of weight training and 20 minutes of cardio. On the days I don’t go to the gym, I try to walk for 30 minutes to 1 hour. The idea here is more than just to lose fat, but to improve your metabolism so that your body starts burning more energy even when you’re sitting in front of your PC! And people, it works a lot. Nowadays I feel my metabolism is better than when I was 20, because even on cheat days when I eat ice cream, doughnuts, pizza, etc. I don’t gain weight easily anymore. So I don’t have to feel guilty on days when I go out with my friends and we eat a lot of junk food. But I do have one rule: I don’t eat junk food for 3 days in a row, so as not to get my body “hooked” on it again.
Nowadays I stick to the above routine, but I’ve added dinner to the smoothie, because the idea is to maintain weight, not lose it. I don’t believe in crazy diets of eating one type of food. I think we should create something that we can lead as a lifestyle naturally, without suffering.
